Location: Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines
Beneficiary: Underpriviledged families
Date: June 2015
GGB's Ambassador, Cristina Para, provided food donations to families in a small rural area located in Nueva Vizcaya. Some of them lived by the rice fields and would spend most of their mornings and afternoons working there. A few of the beneficiaries had a member in their family with a physical disability. Cristina met an individual who suffered from Parkinson’s disease, and another who has a permanent disability caused by a motor accident. They were very grateful that they were given donations. Through GGB, she was able to provide the families with rice, noodles, coffee, crackers, sardines, biscuits, and jelly aces for the kids.
