4th Annual GGB Charity Gala

Join us for an exciting evening of dinner, entertainment, silent auctions, and door prizes on Saturday, November 4, 2017.
In the last year, we have helped seniors, orphans and people living in remote villages in the Africa, Nepal, Philipines, and Vietnam ; and assisted 15 students who are attending post-secondary schools in Vietnam. Four of the students who received GGB scholarships from us have graduated from Universities and have found steady, well paying positions. They are now able to better help their families, and have given back to their communities with their volunteer time.
The majority of our projects are international as the Canadian dollar stretches so much further in many of the countries we assist. We are also committed to helping locally, and have consistently donated to the Edmonton Food Bank, and help the goals of Boyle Street and its partner programs.
100% of net proceeds from ticket sales and any money raised from this event will be directed to our charity projects. Visit our Who We Help page to read more about our projects.
TICKETS:
1. Individual: $60
2. Table of 10: $600
If you purchase a table of 10, we will print an 8 ½” X 11” sign with your name (if you wish), company logo and/or name and/or website address, or optional text (“the Smith Family” or “John T.’s Friends”).
NOTE: If you buy 10 Individual tickets, we cannot guarantee that everyone will be at the same table. If you wish for all 10 attendees to sit together, we recommend you to buy a Table of 10.
SILENT AUCTION:
The focus of GGB is to raise much needed funds for our projects. We can accept both cash and credit card payments. More details about our silent auction items will be announced soon!
RAFFLE:
$20 for a ticket.
The raffle is for a one week stay in a beautiful executive 5-bedroom vacation home in Orlando, Florida that has a private indoor pool. There is a 1 in 150 chance of winning this lovely home that normally rents out for $2,000 – $3,000/week.
There will be roaming ticket sellers and a dedicated table for you to make your purchase. We can accept both cash and credit card payments.
Flight is not included.
50/50 TICKETS:
$2 / ticket, or $5 / 3 tickets.
There will be roaming ticket sellers and a dedicated table for you to make your purchase. We accept cash only for this. We will be drawing the winner near the end of the evening. You must be present when the ticket is drawn, otherwise another ticket will be selected.
DINNER:
Our dinner will be an 8 course Chinese meal, served family style.
Food allergies and sensitivities: Emperor’s Palace recognizes that food allergies can be life threatening. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the dishes, the number of dishes, and the number of people that are served, Emperor’s Palace is not able to accommodate for food allergies or sensitivities at this time.

Q: Are there ID requirements or an age limit enter the event?
A: Not at all. Everyone is welcome. The price is the same for everyone.
Q: What’s the dress code?
A: Business formal or cocktail attire. While we encourage our guests to dress for the occasion, we want our guests to feel comfortable. If you’re really in doubt, check out the gallery of past dinners on our website (2016, 2015, and 2014).
Q: What’s the refund policy?
A: All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable.
Q: Where are the parking located? And how much is parking?
A: Parking is available around the restaurant with EPark machines set up. Please see the map below for their locations. You can also go to the EPark Zones website to view the full map, rate information and payment options.
Q: Is there reserved seating?
A: There is no reserved seating. With a purchase of a table of 10, everyone will be grouped together. If purchasing less than 10 tickets, you will be seated with other groups of people.
