Harry Knight collage

Harry Knight is a young eight year old Flamenco guitarist from Calgary, Alberta. Harry was born into a musical household and started playing Flamenco guitar when he was four. He took to the instrument quickly and by the age of five, was invited to play at Calgary's first annual Spanish Festival.

Since that time, Harry has performed at the 2013 Victoria Flamenco Festival, 2013 Calgary Flood Relief Benefit, 2014 Calgary International Flamenco Festival and with Edmonton's Vinok Worldance Company during their 2014 Christmas Around The World Production.

Harry also played during the 2014 Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show in the Jr. Young Canadian's Band, "The Big Band Of Little Guys" for nightly audiences of 20,000 people over the course of eleven evenings. Also, Harry opened the concert for world renowned Flamenco Guitarist, Grisha Goryachev during the same year at the University of Calgary.

In 2015, Harry jammed with Jesse Cook, toured with guitarist, Pavlo, and played on the Jubilee Auditorium stage for the Calgary Opera fundraising Gala. Along with an invitation to play in the 2015 Calgary International Flamenco Festival, Harry was invited to perform in a Tommy Banks production in Edmonton at the Winspear Centre. Harry was also invited to play in Oliver Miguel's concert and performed with Groove Academy both in Calgary and Toronto. As well, Harry was very proud to have been an Ambassador for the 2015 Fashion Calgary Portrait Campaign and help raise funds for the Children's Hospital performing at the Gala event.

Harry traveled to Madrid, Spain in Feb. 2016 to study for 5 weeks with three of the leading Flamenco Guitarists of our generation.
