A Day of Care at Chùa Từ Quang Temple

In November 2016, Generously Giving Back (GGB) partnered with Chùa Từ Quang Temple in Bình Chánh District to deliver a full day of care and nourishment to villagers living with visual impairments, cancer, and other chronic conditions.

Though modest and weathered, Chùa Từ Quang serves as a sanctuary of compassion, welcoming hundreds each month from Hóc Môn and Củ Chi districts.

This month, 550 individuals were transported by temple-organized buses to receive:

- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

- Haircuts and hygiene care

- Medical checkups, acupuncture, massage, and pulse-based eastern diagnostics

- Medication and wellness support

- Care packages with snacks and essentials for the journey home

GGB proudly sponsored the lunch, snacks, and care packages, while numerous volunteer groups contributed food, drinks, and hands-on service throughout the day.
