A Path to Independence: Mobility for Mr. Nhung

Mr. Nhung, a 66-year-old man from Mỹ Thiện Hamlet in An Giang Province, has lived with paralysis in his left leg since contracting polio at age 11. He is single, has no family support, and resides in a remote area with limited access to resources. His twisted foot and mobility challenges have made daily life increasingly difficult.

In September 2017, GGB Ambassador Tran Thi Chi Lan personally visited Mr. Nhung’s home to deliver a mobile chair, offering him renewed independence and the ability to navigate his surroundings with dignity.
