Restoring Dignity for Mr. Lữ

Mr. Lữ, is a former soldier who lost his left leg during the Vietnam War and recently fractured his right leg in a traffic accident. He lives in Châu Đốc City with his daughter, who is battling uterine cancer, and faces severe financial hardship. Despite his physical limitations, Mr. An is determined to support himself and his daughter by selling lottery tickets and fruit.

In March 2017, GGB Ambassador Tran Thi Chi Lan personally visited Mr. An’s home to deliver a mobile chair, giving Mr. An the mobility he needs to regain independence and earn a living with dignity.
