Supporting the Elderly at Hospicio de San Jose, Barili

For nearly a decade, the International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church (ICCEC) in Cebu City has faithfully supported the elderly residents of the Hospicio de San Jose Home for the Aged in Barili, Cebu. This November 25, 2023 marks the 9th year of their heartfelt outreach—and this time, GGB is honored to assist in the onsite distribution of essential care packages.

This initiative provides weekly essentials to the 39 elderly residents of Hospicio de San Jose, helping meet their basic needs with dignity and care. Each package is valued at ₱500 (approx. $12.50 CAD) and includes items that support comfort, nutrition, and hygiene. Extra packages will be stored for future use to ensure continuity of care.

Contents of each care package

- 1 pack of Energen (nutritious cereal drink)

- 1 large bottle of Efficascent Oil (for aches and pains)

- 1 large Johnson’s Baby Powder (for comfort and hygiene)

- 1 pack of milk

- 1 pack of Fita Biscuits

- 1 hot meal from Jollibee

By joining hands with ICCEC, GGB helps ensure that the elderly of Barili are not forgotten—but cherished, nourished, and cared for.
